When I found out that a shower of flower petals will rain down in DTLA, I knew I had to go no matter what. Although I almost missed it, it was definitely worth it. I got there incredibly late and would highly suggest to be there in line early morning if you want to have the full experience. They normally start from sunrise to sunset and let 100 people in every hour. By the time I got there, they were only letting 40 people in every three minutes. During the perfomance, the group slowly dropped over 7,000 cups of petals, which were collected from a Southern California flower farm. It was definitely magical and a dream come true. I stood between century old buildings along with a rain of flower petals. I took a few pictures to try to capture the moment but it does not do justice. I believe that this is going to happen again in a couple of months. You should definitely follow https://twitter.com/petaldropla for more info. <3
