Coco x Chewy

If you’ve been following my blog/journey for a while, I’m sure you know by now that I have a baby girl named, Coco. She’s the cutest, most playful dog that I love so much. It’s actually her birthday this coming Sunday so I wanted to thank Chewy for her gifts! Coco loves the outdoors so she was so excited to see that she got a chuckit! She couldn’t contain her excitement when playing! She also loved her new Frisco Pineapple Hawaiian Shirt where she can play in style! Thank you so much Chewy for her gifts. She is obsessed and in love with them.

Before summer ends, I wanted to make a matching outfit of me and Coco and a few weeks ago, I finally got a chance to do that. We went to the dog park in Hollywood and we got so many compliments! Coco also had so much fun running around with her fellow doggies!

Last month, she actually tried Solid Gold Mighty Mini and she couldnt stop eating it. Coco is normally picky with her food so I was glad to see that she loved this one! This grain- and gluten-free recipe is made with USA-sourced beef, nutrient-rich fruits and veggies, and a balanced blend of superfoods with omega fatty acids. She loved the savory lamb, sweet potato recipe – especially the wet food – it was also filled with plus nutrient-packed superfoods like vitamin E-rich cranberries.

I was thinking of doing more blog posts like this one where Coco and I have matching outfits – what do you guys think of this blog post?

Xo,

Joy

Cherry Blossom Festival

Every year there’s a few different Cherry Blossom Festivals all over the United States. I went to the one in Monterey Park and although there weren’t any more cherry blossoms currently in bloom, I actually ended up having so much fun more than I thought. There’s live entertainment, arts and crafts section, food booths and crafts vendors. For this event, I decided to bring Coco and make a kimono for her and me. My friends and I got a taste of the Japanese and Japanese American culture through a first-hand experience of watching traditional Japanese dancing, hearing the resounding beats of the taiko drums, observing the mastery of martial arts and learned how to make flower arrangements.

What’d you think of Coco’s kimono? If you have other suggestions that you’d like to see her in, let me know. Happy Friday and Happy Earth Day!!

The pier house

For the past seven months, I have been one of those people who take the pandemic very seriously and have tried my best not to go out or dine outside due to safety precautions. However, when I was invited by The Pier House to dine in their patio right in front of Venice Beach, I… Continue reading →
